MY COACHING METHOD
-
FOCUS
It all starts by learning how to focus on what you want.
-
REFLECT
Next, you’ll reflect on what may be blocking you, and learn how to overcome these obstacles.
-
Refine
The last step? We learn how to continually refine what we’ve learned. Think of this as your new beginning.
“Karen was authentic and super helpful. She helped me narrow my focus and walked me through what was happening in my body. She gave me space to breathe, made me feel safe, and gave positive feedback. She also walked me through a surf session which was enlightening and something I wanted help with.”
Karen McGee
““Karen was very helpful in allowing me to talk through the options I am considering about work going forwards. She helped me see through the use of STEAR maps that even though I have my idea of stepping back from the stress of my previous dream work area, I am still trying to find/construct the “perfect” alternative e.g. a non stress fun part time job with a perfect boss etc etc. My fear of trying new things is preventing me from giving things a go. She recommended I give myself credit for what I am doing and we ended by suggesting looking for “b minus jobs”!””
Freddy Greaves
“Every time I meet with Karen, I uncover something huge ”a-ha” about myself/the direction I’m going. I appreciate that Karen poses her coaching as “ok so I see a few directions we could go with this, which resonates most with you/do you want to focus on?” It’s like “choose your own journey” and I love it. Karen is amazing.”
Laura Luther
“Karen is an amazing listener. She captured the whirlwind of thoughts and we were able to dial in on a foundational issue around the need for validation from my family. In the end, I need to remember that I can only control my thoughts and results. I have to remind myself that I accept me and my path, so I don’t need their understanding or validation. True acceptance of that is a work in progress.”
